Prabhuji – A Life Guided by Grace & Dharma

Shri Bhakti Bhushan Das

Born in a humble village, Prabhuji (originally named Bhaskar) was immersed in devotion from early childhood. Though the name was given to him, he always felt a deeper identity waiting to unfold. His journey inward began with a simple moment—a tailoring needle that pierced his finger, sparking questions about life, death, and the illusions of the material world.

Drawn to nature and silence, he began worshipping Lord Shiva in the mountains, chanting Om Namah Shivaya and seeking the wisdom of truth (Satyavadi Jnana). A divine turn came when he met a devotee from ISKCON during his tailoring work, who introduced him to the Bhagavad Gita. Later, during an ISKCON Padayatra, he was invited to speak in Kannada—a language he had never studied formally—yet by the grace of Lord Chaitanya, he spoke fluently, astonishing everyone. This moment marked his emergence as a spiritual orator.

He went on to teach at ISKCON Bangalore and has traveled extensively across sacred lands—Haridwar, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and the Himalayas. He learned Siddha medicine in Salem (Tamil Nadu) and studied Nadi Pariksha in the Himalayas. He spent 10 years in Vrindavan, immersed in spiritual practice, before settling in Udupi.

In Haridwar, he met Param Pujya Radha Govinda Goswami Maharaj, who gave him Deeksha and blessed him with the mission to establish a Gaushala (cow sanctuary). Since then, Prabhuji has devoted his life to the service of nature, cows, and dharma—moving where Krishna guides him, spreading light, healing, and truth.

Krishna is My Boss

“I am not the doer. I’m only the servant. Whatever happens through me, happens by Krishna’s will. Every act — whether serving the community, lighting a diya, or guiding a soul — is His work. I just carry it out with love and devotion.”

A Call to Serve Through Cow Seva and Community Healing

Prabhuji saw firsthand how rural families were disconnected from spiritual roots, and how gaumata — the heart of dharma — was often neglected. Radha Surabhi was born as a movement of seva, rooted in cow care, prasadham distribution, spiritual education, and yogic healing.

It was never about building an institution — it was about restoring balance, empowering the forgotten, and walking the path of dharma in action.
